Chiru's Hesitation-A Psychological perspective




The fire that was set on, in the recent past in the state's political arena is still rising! All the political parties including Congress, TDP, TRS, CPI and CPM on the one hand and the people of AP on the other hand have shown a very keen interest on the debut of Chiranjeevi into the politics! Some of the leaders have got insecurity, some the chance, some the support , some the dislike and some of them absolutely welcome Chiru! But nobody knows what actually Chiru is planning to do.But the analysts have the opinion that, of all the other parties and the people, Chiru himself is reluctant to take a plunge into politics for the present.

The psychological angle:

Chiru with his commitment, conviction and competency has reached the zenith in Tollywood and has been enjoying the position of Numero Uno for the last decade and a half.It is the empire he built with time, toil and hard work. As the social-psychologists rightly put it as his Acquired status, where he is getting all the security, comfort and certainity at present. If he switch over to the politics at this stage it will become his Ascribed status, where he may not be in comfort with, due to the very fluctuating risks and challenges involved in politics!

The psychologists have made it clear that, it is common for anybody to get through a conflict when he decided or thinking of shifting from one situation where he is familiar with to a new situation which is not really known to him. In other words, it is the common human psyche to be and to be continue with the present known, accustomed and habituated status, which gives a sense of Comfort Zone to him.

Here he can dictate the terms and enjoys his rights. If he wants to shift his arena to the other one, definitely he will be having all doubts, suspicion and the outcome-phobia which throws him to a Conflict Zone! Megastar Chiru might be going through all the stress now! As war does not take place on the battle-ground, but it takes shape and strategy in the mind first.

This phenomenon of mental readiness or the psychological preparation can make an individual to face any consequences to come in his path in the later times! Chiru is now the Warrior !
